INDEPENDENCE DAY MESSAGE

With great respect, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to every Nigerian, both in Türkiye and at home.

Today, as we mark the 66th anniversary of our beloved nation, Nigeria, we reflect on a journey that has not been without challenges. Yet, through resilience and determination, Nigerians have continued to show courage in building a nation of hope and promise.

Despite our differences, many of us carry genuine concerns about the state of our country. But through it all, the indomitable Nigerian spirit remains unbroken. Our strength lies in our courage, faith, hard work, and unwavering belief that Nigeria will fulfils her great potential.

On this special occasion, I warmly welcome and appreciate H.E. Usman Isa Dakingari Suleiman, Nigerian High Commissioner to Türkiye. Sir, your presence and engagement give our community renewed confidence that the welfare and dignity of Nigerians abroad remain a priority.

Let this Independence Day remind us that Nigeria belongs to all of us. May we continue to choose unity over division, dialogue over discord, compassion over bitterness, and hope over despair.

May God grant our leaders wisdom and courage, bless every Nigerian, and protect our citizens at home and abroad.

Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Amb. Prince E. Magboh
